LetterPod Privacy Policy

LetterPod lets you write letters, save memories, and make friendly bets that are sealed until a delivery date you choose. This policy explains what information the app stores and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and (optionally) a profile photo, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Your content — the letters, photos, videos, voice notes, and text you add to your capsules. This content is yours; we store it only so it can be delivered back to you.

How it is stored

Your account and content are stored securely with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage). Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected by security rules so that only your signed-in account can access your content.

What we do NOT do

• No ads, and no advertising trackers.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
• No reading of your sealed letters — content is only shown to you, after its delivery date.

Notifications

Delivery reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual capsules, all capsules, or your entire account (including all stored content) at any time from Settings → Danger Zone inside the app. Deletion is permanent.

Children

LetterPod is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
